Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced pared tart apples
- 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 3 tbsp firm butter or margarine
- 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cups chopped nuts
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325 degrees
GREASE pie plate, 10 X 1 1/2 inches. Mix apples, cinnamon and nutmeg; turn into pie plate. Beat milk, 2 tbsp butter, eggs, granulated sugar and 1/2 cups baking mix 15 seconds in a blender on high speed, 1 minute with a wire whisk or hand beater or until smooth.
POUR into pie plate. Cut 3 tbsp butter into remaining ingredients; sprinkle over top.
BAKE 55 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
