Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 Tbls. cornstarch
- 2 Tbls Lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 Tbls. butter melted
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 2 Tbls lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
spread blueberries in ungreased 8" pan. Sprinkle with corn starch and sprinkle with lemon juice. set aside.
In a med. bowl combine dry ingredients. Add milk and butter and stir just to combine,( not smooth ). Drop mounds on top of the blueberries. Pour boiling water over dough and fruit. Sprinkle with a little more sugar. Bake until biscuits are golden brown and bubbly, 45 - 50 min. Serve warm or room temp
