Savory Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 4 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 3 lbs. Beef chuck, cut in 1" cubes
  • 4 cups Chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp. Curry powder
  • 1 28 0z. can chopped tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven at 325f

Crush garlic with salt, to a paste.

In a heavy dutch oven, combine beef, garlic paste, onions, ginger and curry powder.

Cover and bake for an hour, or until meat is tender.

Stir in the tomatoes.

Bake covered for 1 hour.

Serve over plain cooked rice.
