Ingredients
- 8 ears corn (grated)
- 3 slices bacon cooked crisp
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 c whole milk
- 1/4-1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 c fresh basil leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Add onion to bacon fat and cook until soft, 8 minutes.
Add corn and accumulated juices and cook 5 minutes. Slowly stir in milk and cook until thick and creamy, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, red pepper flakes. Crumble bacon over corn mixture and top with basil leaves.
