Ingredients
- pie crust
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tab. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 cups thinly sliced apples
- crumb topping-1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans and caramel topping-these go on after baking
Preparation
Step 1
mix first batch of ingredients for filling and mix crumb topping ingredients together cutting in the butter last to make big crumbs-i always double the topping
bake 375 for 50 to 60 min
remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped pecans and drizzle with caramel topping
