Baltimore Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo lump crab meat
  • 8 saltine crackers crushed
  • 1 egg well beaten
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard like french's
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning or more to taste
  • butter

Preparation

Step 1

Place the crab meat into a bowl. Gently toss crushed saltines with the crab meat. Mix the remaining ingredients, except butter, together and gently mix with the crab and crackers.
Mold into cakes. Fry in the pan with butter until golden brown. Makes about 5 hefty cakes.
