Ingredients
- 1 onion finely chopped
- A few cloves of garlic - minced
- 1/2 cup black lentils
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 can tomato sauce or paste
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- lemon juice (to taste)
- chopped cilantro
Preparation
Step 1
1. Chop onion and garlic
2. Wash and dry rice and lentils
3. Add onions, garlic, rice and lentils in skillet and fry in oil
4. Add sauce or paste
5. Add water to thin
6. 3/4 into cook time add lemon juice, salt, and pepper
7. Add cilantro and serve hot
