REFRIGERATED RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS

Ingredients

  • 1 box 15-ounce Raisin Bran Cereal (8 cups)
  • 5 cups flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 teaspoons soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 quart buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

In a 5 quart ice cream pail, mix well the Raisin Bran, soda, salt, and sugar. Stir together the eggs, oil and buttermilk and mix into the dry ingredients.

Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to six weeks.

To bake: Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 30 minutes or bake in paper baking cups in the microwave oven according to manufactors directions.

Mom adds 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
