Ingredients
- 1 lb pitted dates
- 8 oz whole blanched almonds
- 1 lb bacon, cut slices into thirds
Preparation
Step 1
1. If it is necessary to pit dates, freeze them first for easier handling. Insert a whole almond in each date. Wrap with one third of a slice of bacon. Secure with a wooden toothpick.
2. Preheat BURTON STOVE TOP GRILL. Place dates on grill and cook until bacon is crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels. Let cool somewhat as dates retain the heat. If desired, serve with a sweet and sour sauce for
dipping.
