Cherry Cholocate Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp plus 1/2 c butter, softened and divided
  • 2 c sugar
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1 can (5oz) evaporated milk
  • dash salt
  • 1 c vanilla or white chips
  • 1 1/2 tsp cherry extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 c creamy pb
  • 1/4 c finely chopped dry roasted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Line a 15in x 10in x 1in pan with foil. Grease the foil with 1 TBSP buttter, set aside. In large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, marshmallows, milk, salt and remaining butter. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 5 min. Remove from the heat. Stir in vanilla chips and extracts until smooth. Pour into prepared pan.

2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Stir in pb and peanuts. Drop by TBSP over 1st layer; cut through with a knife to swirl. Chill until firm.

3. Using foil, lift candy out of pan. Discard foil. Break candy into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
