Escalloped Apples

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. apples, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, or to taste
  • 4 tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix apples, flour, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Place in a buttered oven-proof casserole. Dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated (350 deg) oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.
