Ingredients
- Pie:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 2 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup key lime or regular lime juice
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 T lime zest
- Whipped cream:
- 2 T sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- splash vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter.
3. Press the mixture firmly into a pie pan and bake until brown, about 13-15 minutes.
4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
5. Lower the temperature on the oven to 325 degrees.
6. In a separate bowl, combine the condensed milk, lime juice and eggs. Whisk until well blended and place the filling into the cooled pie shell.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes and let cool completely on a wire rack.
To make whipped cream:
1. Put metal bowl and whisk in freezer for about 15 minutes.
2. Place all ingredients into bowl and whisk until stiff peaks.
3. Store in freezer for up to 10 hours until ready to use.
