Sharyn's Pie Crust for Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 cups pastry flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pound lard
  • 1/3 cup cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar
  • water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together flour sugar and salt. Cut in lard and butter till size of peas.
In measuring cup, mix egg and vinegar, and add water to equal 1 cup total liquid.
