Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cans tart cherries
  • drain and top pie crust
  • 3-4 eggs beaten with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • milk

Preparation

Step 1

Drain cherries and pour into prepared pie crust. Beat eggs with salt and vanilla. Add 1 cup sugar directly onto cherries.
Pour milk into egg mixture with remaining sugar enough to level pie.

Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then at 325 for 35-40 minutes until pie is set.
