Aunt Ro's cranberry-walnut relish

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh cranberries (bags are 12oz., 1 1/2 bags ok)mixed with 1 1/3 c. sugar & 1 c. honey
  • 1 c. walnuts, corsely chopped
  • 1 c. orange marmalade
  • juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

Step 1

In shallow large pan ( bigger than 9x13 if possible), Stir cranberries, sugar & honey. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 1 hr @ 350 ( stir after 15 minutes) Toast walnuts in 350 oven for 5 minutes. Mix cranberry mixture, marmalade, nuts & lemon juice. Chill. Pole little holes in foikl with pin to let some air out. Prevent boiling over into foil edges.
