Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- beef broth
- carrots, some sliced and some peeled
- celery, chopped
- onions, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes, with liquid
- 2 handfuls of macaroni
- Salt, pepper, thyme.
Preparation
Step 1
Brown the hamburger, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain well.
Throw everything, except macaroni, in a soup pot and simmer until the carrots and celery are tender. Bring to a low boil and add macaroni. Serve.
Freezes well.
