Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastries, thawed
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 1/2 c. cool whip
- 12 large strawberries
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400.
Unfold dough into bar pan
Combine almonds and 1 Tb sugar, sprinkle and press into dough.
Cut dough into 3x4 squares
Bake 16-18 mins, cool completely.
Toast remaining almonds, cool completely and coursely chop. Whisk sour cream, powdered sugar and almond extract. Fold cool whip into cream mixture.
Split pastries, layer with filling and strawberries.
