Ingredients
- 2 Cups large Elbows
- 3 Tbs. Butter
- 3 Tbs. All-Purpose Flour
- 2 1/2 Cups of Milk
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 1/4 cup Minced Onion
- 2 Cups (8 oz.) Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Cup bread Crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 350 Degrees
Cook elbow macaroni and drain.
In a medium Saucepan melt butter, stir in flour.
Gradually stir in milk. Cook stirring constantly over medium heat, until sauce thickens.
Stir in salt and pepper. Add onion and cheese, stir until cheese melts.
Stir cheese sauce into cooked elbow macaroni.
Spoon into greased 2-Quart baking dish.
Top with bread crumbs and bake for 30 Minutes.
