Ingredients
- 1 tbls olive oil
- 1 lg chopped onion
- 1 lg chopped garlic clove
- 1/2 tbls chopped rosemary
- 1 tsp chopped thyme
- 1-1/2 lbs sausage
- 1 green pepper
- 1/2 c chopped tomato
- 1 tbls flour
- 1/2 c chicken stock
- 3/4 c grated Asiago cheese
- 3/4 c shredded provolone cheese
- 16 biscuits
Preparation
Step 1
Cook crumbled sausage until browned. Cook onion & garlic in olive oil in skillet until soft. Add rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Add peppers & tomatoes and cook for 5 min. Add sausage, flour, chicken stock & cook for 3 min. Remove from heat & add 1/4 c of each cheese. Slice biscuits in half to have 32 thin ones. Put biscuits in small muffin tins. Fill w/meat mixture & sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake for 25 min @ 350°
