Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder,
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour an 8 by 4 by 3 inch loaf pan. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the remaining ingredients except raisins and nuts. Mix well and then stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 60 to 65 minutes.
