Presto Tortellini Soup (skinny)

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg (7oz ea)pork breakfast sausage links
  • 2 cans (14/5ozea)Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 2 c water
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 c chopped celery
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 t dried oregano
  • 1/8 t cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 t hot pepper sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3/4 c refrigerated tortellini

Preparation

Step 1

In a 3 qt saucepan, brown sausage, drain and cut into bite size pieces. Return to pan, stir in the next nine ingredients.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 min. Add tortellini. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5 min or until pasta is tender. Discard bay leaf.
