Ingredients
- DRESSING:
- 1/2 pound spinach, washed
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 oz. toasted pecans
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1-1/2 teaspoon minced onions
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup raspberry vinegar
- 1/2 cup oil
Preparation
Step 1
Put the spinach and strawberries in a bowl. Layer the strawberries on top.
Toast pecans in frying pan and let cool before adding to salad.
Mix all the dressing ingredients in a shaker or blend with mixer. Add cooled pecans to salad and then mix the dressing in.
The dressing recipe makes a lot so add to your liking.
