BROCCOLI CREAM SOUP

  • Cream soup:
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1-1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1-1/2 c. milk
  • Broccoli soup:
  • 2 c. frozen broccoli cut, cooked, drained, or 2 c. fresh broccoli cuts, cooked and drained
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 recipe cream soup (above)

Preparation

Step 1

In medium saucepan, stir broccoli, lemon juice, and garlic powder into cream soup. Heat gently. Do not boil.
