Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 t minced garlic
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 1/2 t ground cumin
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 t ground mustard
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- 1/4 t ground cinnamon
- 1/4 t ground allspice
- 1/4 t pepper
- 2 15.5 oz cans hominy, rinsed and drained
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the turkey, onion and garlic in oil over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes and seasonings; heat through. Add hominy and heat through.
