Stuffed Hungarian Banana Peppers

  • 1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 5 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 2 oz romano cheese
  • 1 tbsp anchovy paste
  • 1/4 c chopped shallots
  • plain bread crumbs
  • 12 yellow Hungarian peppers


Servings 6


Step 1

Put all ingredients (except peppers and bread crumbs) in a food processor. Blend thoroughly. While machine is running, add bread crumbs until mixture is thick enough to roll.

Remove seeds from peppers and stuff.

Heat olive oil in frying pan until shimmering. Add peppers

Fry about 3-5 minutes until soft.
