Sausage Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs rice pilaf
  • 2 lb pork sausage
  • 6 celery ribs, chopped
  • 4 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 can cram of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Prepare rice mixes according to the package. Meanwhile in a large skillet cook the sausage, celery and carrots over medium heat until mean is no longer pink.

2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage mixture, rie, soups, onion and garlic powder and pepper. Transfer to 2 greased 11x7in baking dishes.

3. Cover and freeze on casserole for up to 3 months. Cover and bake the remaining casserole at 350 for 40-45 min or until vegi's are tender.

4. TO USE FROZEN casserole. Thaw in fridge overnight, Remove from the fridge 30 min before baking. Bake as directed.
