Shrimp Alfredo and Linguine

Ingredients

  • 8 oz uncooked linguine, broken into thirds
  • 1 1/2 c frozen sweet peas
  • 3/4 c light alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 c fat free half and half or skim milk
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1/2 t basil
  • 1/8 t pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In large saucepan, cook linguine, adding peas during the last 2-3 minutes. Pour onto colander to drain. In same saucepan over low heat, combine alfredy sauce, half and half, shrimp, basil and pepper. Mix well. Add cooked linguine and peas; cook 2-4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
