White Chocolate Chunk Macadamia Cookies are the perfect for the holidays, or any time of the year!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 (3 1/2-ounce) jar macadamia nuts, chopped, about 3/4 cup
  • 2 (3-ounce) bars white chocolate, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325°F.

Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. In large bowl of electric mixer, beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla at medium high speed until fluffy.

Reduce speed to low, add flour, increase mixer speed gradually and beat just until blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate.

Drop heaping tablespoonfuls dough 2 ½ inches apart onto prepared sheets.

Bake 1 sheet at a time 17 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and tops look dry. Cool on wire rack 5 minutes.
