Ingredients
- 5 C yolk free egg noodles
- 1 1/4 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cans (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t sugar
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1 (8oz) pkg of reduced fat cream cheese
- 1 c reduced fat ricotta cheese
- 1/4 c fat free sour cream (plain yogurt)
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced, divided
- 2/3 c shredded reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Cook noodles according to pkg. Meanwhile, cook beef in large skillet until no longer pink. Add garlic and cook 1 min longer. Drain, stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, pepper. heat through, Drain noodles stir into beef mix.
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, ricotta, and sour cream until well blended. Stirin half of onions.
Spoon half of noodle mixture in a 13 x 9 pan coated with cooking spray. Top with cheese mix and remaining noodle mix.
Cover and bake at 350 deg for 30 min. Uncover, sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake 5-10 min more or until heated through and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with remaining onions.
