Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 '4 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/3 cups (8oz pkg) Heath toffee bits
  • 2 cups Whipping Cream
  • Melted Butter
  • Coarse Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees, lightly grease 2 baking sheets.

Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and heath bits until combined well. Stir whipping cream into mixture just until moistened.
Turn mixture out onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently until soft dough forms, about 2 minutes.

Divide dough into 3 equal balls. One ball at a time, flatten into a 7-inch circle; cut into 8 triangles. Transfer to greased baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Repeat with remaining balls.

Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with coarse sugar.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or cool.
