Ingredients
- 2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 egg [beaten]
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 cup light raisins
- 1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries [chopped]
Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Add egg, orange peel, orange juice.
Stir until mixture is evenly moist.
Fold in raisins and cranberries.
Spoon into greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
Bake 350 degree 1 hour 10 minutes
until toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from pan. Cool on rack.
