Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 lb. corned beef, chopped
- 1/2 c. (2 oz) cheese
- 2 T. chopped green onion
- 36 slices cocktail rye bread, toasted
Preparation
Step 1
Mix cream cheese and mustard with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Blend in meat, cheese and onion. Spread on toast slices. Place on cookie sheet. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 3 dozen. To make ahead, instead of broiling, place on cookie sheet and freeze for one hour or until firm. Place in freezer-safe zipper locked bags. Freeze up to one month. When ready to serve, thaw 10 minutes. Broil as directed.
