APPLE & PEAR TART

Ingredients

  • 4 c Apples, peeled & sliced
  • 3 c Pears, peeled & sliced
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 c Flour
  • 1/4 c Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Of a Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine apples, pears with lemon juice.
2. Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
3. Add fruit mixture.
4. Roll out pastry in a tart pan; leave some hanging over the edge.
5. Brush with egg white on bottom, and then add fruit.
6. Dot with butter.
7. Fold edges and brush with egg white over the outside edges.
8. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
