Glazed Black Bean Garlic Ribs

Ingredients
- 4 lbs.(2 kg.) pork side ribs, sweet and sour spareribs
- 1/4 c. (50ml.) each black bean sauce and water
- 3 tbsp. (50ml.) dry sherry
- 2 tbsp. (25ml.) each honey and soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. (15ml.) toasted seame seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Using a fork, gently lift and peel the membrane away from the backside of each rack of pork ribs and discard. Cut ribs into single rib or bite size pieces.; place in a large plastic bag or in sealable container. Combine remaining ingredients except sesame seeds; mix well and pour over ribs.
Close bag or container and marinate in the refrigerator a minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 24 hours.
Drain ribs, reserving marinade. Place ribs in shallow roasting pan; cover with foi land bake in a 325F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Meanwhile bring marinade to a boil for 5 minutes. Brush ribs with the boiled marinade; bake, uncovered, for 30 to 45 minutes or until dark golden.
Sprinkle ribs with sesame seeds and serve hot.
