Butter Herb Baked Fish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2/3 c. crushed saltine crackers
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. each basil, Oregano leaves & salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 lb frozen fish, thawed (orange roughy)

Preparation

Step 1

In a 9x13 baking pan, melt butter in a preheated oven. Meanwhile combine cracker crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, salt and garlic powder.
Dip fish fillets in melted butter and then in crumb misture.

Arrange fish fillets in remaining butter in baking pan.
Bake near center of 350 oven for 25 to 30 minutes until fish is tender and flakes with a fork.
Serve immediately.
