Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 bananas (or 2 bananas & 1/2 cup applesauce)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour (can use 1/2 wheat flour)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Mix sugar, butter and eggs together, add baking soda and salt. Mash bananas and mix well. Add vanilla. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Let sit for 20 minutes in warm area before baking. Bake 50-55 minutes or until top is firm and bread is golden brown.
Can be made in a loaf pan or 9x9 square pan. Add in 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts for variation.
