Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- vanilla ice cream
Preparation
Step 1
Combine honey, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 c. water in a skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Stir in apples. Reduce heat and cook apples until tender and sauce has thickened, stirring often.
Remove from heat and stir in remaining butter. Let cool for 10 minutes. Serve over ice cream while warm.
