Pumpkin Swirl Bread

  • Filling
  • 1 8oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup margarine- melted
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/3 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine filling, combine dry ingredients. Add pumpkin, margarine, egg, and water. Mix until just moist. Reserve 2 cups batter. Pour cream cheese over butter. Add remaining batter and swirl with a knife.
