Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 can pineapple slices
  • Maraschino cherries
  • 1 yellow cake mix

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter in oblong pan,spread evenly and coat sides of pan
2. Sprinkle brown sugar in pan and pat down,put pineapple slices on brown sugar and cherry in center of each pineapple slice
3. Mix cake mix as directed using pineapple juice for water
4. Bake adding 5 minutes, cool slightly and invert on plate
