STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE TRIFLE

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 carton (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed butter-flavoured crackers (about 38 crackers)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 can (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream; mix well. In a small mixing bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Stir into the cream mixture. Fold in whipped topping.

Toss the cracker crumbs and butter. In a 2 1/2 qt. trifle bowl, layer halt of cream cheese mixture, crumbs and pie filling. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until serving. Yields 12-16 servings.
