Corn for the Freezer

Ingredients

  • 3 dozen ears of corn
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 stick of butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cut enough corn off cob to fill 4 quarts. Put corn in pot and add 4 tsp salt, 2 Tbsp sugar, and 1 stick butter. Cover with water and cook for about 15 minutes. Let corn get cold and then put in freezer.
3 dozen ears makes a batch.
