Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 6 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp basil (dried)
- 1 Lb cavatelli
- Pepper to taste
- Parsley as garnish
- Grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Heat heavy skillet over medium heat
Heat oil and butter and gently saute garlic
Add broccoli and stir gently while pan gets very hot
Add chicken broth, cover and simmer until broccoli is tender
Cook cavatelli according to package directions and drain
Add 1/2 basil and well drained cavatelli to skillet and mix thoroughly
Sprinkle with cheese, parsley, pepper and remaining basil
