Cherry Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1.5 sticks butter
  • 1.5 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Spread pineapple with juice in bottom of 9x13" glass pan.

Spoon cherry pie filling over pineapple.

Empty cake mix into bowl and whisk to break up any clumps. Sprinkle over cherries.

Cut butter into squares and place evenly over cake mix.

Sprinkle pecans over butter.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Cool before serving slightly warm.

Store leftovers in refrigerator. Re-warm in microwave.
