Shredded Brussels sprouts with Bacon & Hazelnuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C choped bacon (@ 3 slices)
  • 1/2 C chicken broth
  • 13 C thinly sliced Brussels sprouts (@ 2 lbs)
  • salt & pepper
  • 3 T toasted, chopped hazelnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon in large Dutch oven over med-hi heat, @ 4 min. til crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving 1/2 t drippings. Set bacon aside. Add chicken broth to pan; bring to a simmer.
Add sliced Burssels sprouts, cook 4 min., stirring frequently. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, tossing gently to combine. Sprinkle evenly with cooked bacon & toasted hazelnuts. Serving size 3/4 C each.
