Carrot Pudding

This receipe calls for the water bath canner method

Serve with Carmel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 c grated carrots
  • 1 c grated potato`s
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 3/4 c raisens
  • 1/2 c currants
  • 1/2 t cloves
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

Add flour and spices mix well.
Add fruit, mix well
melt margarine and mix into batter.

Fill sealers to 2/3 full and give them a steam bath
in canner for 3 hours.
