Grilled Asparagus
Great flavor. My kids use to hate asparagus. They love it like this.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- Marinade (see below)
Preparation
Step 1
Marinade asparagus for 2 hours. In Tupperware dish, cover with Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Coarsley-ground pepper, Kosher Salt (minimal), minced garlic and a bit of balsamic vinegar.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Using soaked skewers, put one through the tops and the other through the bottoms. It looks like a fence and makes it easy to flip on grill. Do as many as needed.
OR - - I got a grilling basket from Home Depot and this works well for this type of cooking. Lay them in, close and lock, then grill and flip. Presto!!!
Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness.
