Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3/4 - 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Zest of one orange
  • 1 slice of orange
  • 15 oz. cranberries

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix honey and sugar into the orange juice. Add cinnamon sticks, orange zest, and orange slice. Stir in the cranberries, reduce heat and cover pan. Simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl (1 qt Pyrex). Remove orange slice and cinnamon sticks. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Refrigerate leftovers.
