Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, to saute with
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, minced
  • 24 cups bread cubes, 3-1lb loaves
  • 3 cups chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 pounds Italian sausage
  • 4 large eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and saute celery and onion. Remove sausage from casing and brown. Combine bread with dry ingredients first the gradually add wet ingredients
I cook in Crock pot or can be cooked in casserole in the oven 350 for about 1 hour.
