Ingredients
- 2 Granny smith apples, diced
- 2 oz White cheddar cheese
- 2 oz Garlic herb cheese (Laughing Cow)
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- Salt & pepper
- 2 Thick cut pork chops
- 3 Slices bacon, diced
- Olive oil
- 1/2 tea poultry seasoning
- Glaze-
- 2 oz Jack Daniels
- 2 oz Honey
- 1/4 cup apple, diced
- 1/2 tea garlic powder
- 4 oz Maple syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Cook bacon with a splash of olive oil, add onion, poultry seasoning and diced apple. Cook for 2 minutes at low heat. Remove from pan. In same pan, brown pork chops after cutting in a pocket. Stuff pork chops with cheese and apple-bacon mixture, add salt and pepper and set aside. In same pan, make glaze- Add Jack Daniels, honey and syrup. Reduce by 1/3. Add garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 more minutes. Pour into small bowl. Put chops into pan and pour half of the glaze over top. Place in oven and cook for 30-35 minutes, adding rest of glaze after about 20 minutes.
