Ingredients
- 1 c butter, room temperature
- 2/3 c powdered sugar
- 2 c flour
- 2 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 7 T fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c finley grated lemon peel
- 1 teas baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter & powdered sugar until fluffy. Add 2 c flour until clumps form. Press into greased pan. Bake 20 minutes.
Beat eggs & 2 c sugar. Add lemon juice, lemon peel,baking powder & 1/4 cup flour. Pour over hot crust. Bake 20 minutes until filling is set (cover with foil if it gets too dark) Cool, cut into 24 bars. Dust with powdered sugar.
